UN Sustainable Development Goals

As part of being an authorized visitor center for Jostedalsbreen National Park, in addition to being certified as an Eco-Lighthouse, we work to communicate the global sustainability goals of the UN. We do this through both exhibitions and professional communication, but also through museum operations. The term "sustainability" is particularly used in our communication to children and young people, especially through our teaching programs for school classes.

The readiness goals that Norwegian Glacier Museum mainly work within are goals 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17.
