30th anniversary of the Norwegian Glacier Museum

Welcome to the celebration of our 30th anniversary in Fjærland at 16.00 on 22 May. The celebration is open to all.

We are extremely pleased that H.M. Queen Sonja has agreed to be part of our celebration. She laid the foundation stone for the museum on October 11, 1990 and opened the museum on May 31, 1991. H.M. The Queen is also an honorary member of the museum.

The anniversary is celebrated outside in front of the Norwegian Glacier Museum

There will be free admission to the museum after the official ceremony.

We hope to see you this day - feel free to bring Norwegian flags.

Regular opening hours on this day are 10:00 - 15:00.
